Ida M. Kepple

MOUNT VERNON — Ida M. Kepple, 80, of Mount Vernon died Sept. 1, 2008, at the Country Court Retirement Campus.

She was born June 16, 1928, in Glasgow, Ky., to William A. and Loretta (Diemer) Hildebrand. Ida was a member of the Ladies of the Elks and AMVETS Auxiliary.

She is survived by four sons, John W. (Mary) Kepple and Michael (Karen) Kepple, both of Mount Vernon, Dennis (Denise) Kepple of Akron and Ralph J. (Lisa) Kepple of Atlanta, Ga.; four daughters, Jill (Dick) Schwartz and Patricia Petit, both of Mount Vernon, Melodee (Roger) Tickle of Utica and Holly (Michael) McCutchen of Butler; 11 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosemay Bowen of New Jersey and Patricia (Jay) Coombs of Utah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Kepple, in 1995; brother, William Hildebrand; and sister, Shirley Poland.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside service will be held Thursday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, with Mr. Roger Tickle and Mr. Dick Schwartz officiating. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is handling the funeral arrangements for the Kepple family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ida’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
