Pinie May Mosier

FREDERICKTOWN — Pinie May (Binion) Mosier, 82, of Fredericktown died unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

Born Jan. 19, 1926, in Pedro, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Goldie Binion. Mrs. Mosier loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her family and friends with all her heart. Today, all of Mrs. Mosier’s family and friends, along with all in heaven, are shouting and praising God, as Mrs. Mosier stands face to face with her risen Savior and King, the one whom she has always loved and served, Jesus Christ.

Surviving are two sons, John Robert (Dianna) Mosier of Clay City, Ky., and Ephraim W. (Pamela) Mosier of Madison, Ala.; three daughters, Martha Owens and Ethel (Bob) Davis, both of Fredericktown, and Goldie Helen (Guy) Owens of Mansfield; three stepchildren, Perry C. Mosier of Olive Hill, Ky., and Meddie Mosier and Edith Holmes, both of Mansfield; brothers, Charles Binion of Georgetown, Ky., and Harold Binion and Ralph (Marge) Binion, both of Olive Hill, Ky.; sisters, Maxie Lorene Roar of Olive Hill, Ky., and Ruby Mowery of Georgetown, Ky.; grandchildren, Sherry, Cheryl, Marsha, Jackie, Jason, Lizibeth, Mike, Melina, Tim, Angie, Tammy, Sandy, Amy, Lisa, Jackie, Amanda and Little Guy; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kale Mosier; her parents; two sons, Kale Mosier Jr. and George Daniel Mosier; a daughter, May Lambert; a brother, George Binion; two sisters, Helen Carroll and Vergie Bryant; a grandson, Clarence Allen Cash; and a granddaughter, Kimberly S. Owens Hickle.

On behalf of Mrs. Mosier, we her entire family, would like to express our heartfelt love and appreciation to Melina, for the dedicated loving care and affection she provided to her grandmother. She has been an inspiration to us all.

Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by pastors Rick Pelfrey and James Owens. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Online guest registry at www.wappner.com.
