LEXINGTON — Vivian J. (Hagerty) Trowbridge Hollingsworth, 80, of Lexington died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a short illness.
She was born May 8, 1928, in Morrow County to Clarence and Marie (Evans) Hagerty. She remained a lifelong resident of Morrow and Richland counties.
She is survived by daughters, Charlotte (Tom) Baker, Diana (Ted) Abney, Julie (Doug) Stryker and Tracy Oyster; a son, Ed Trowbridge; 11 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Kaufman and Penelope Blayney; four sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Hoyt Blayney; a brother, Wayne Blayney; and a great-grandson, Ethan Oyster.
The Hollingsworth family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, Mansfield, where the funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor David J. Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chesterville.
