HOWARD — Juanita M. Potts, 75, of Howard went to her heavenly home on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, surrounded by her family.
She was born April 2, 1933, to William and Marie Horstman in Steubenville. Juanita was a member of the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene and attended the Nazarene Church in Sunbury. Juanita’s passion in life was her family and her Savior. She also enjoyed playing bridge with a group of friends for 20 years, she bowled for many years, and was a great cook.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dr. Donald Potts; sons, Dave (Joan), Dan (Melinda), Doug (Kimberlee) and Deric; daughter, Joanie (Tim) Garber; grandchildren, Chris, Sara, Rachel, Justin, Jordan, Jenny, Jandi, Kristee, Brian, Jackie, Bruce, Brittany, Austin, Carri and Emily; brothers, Bill and Dick; and sisters, Lou and Ruth Ann.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Aileen.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 6, at noon at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton, OH 43812, with Pastor Mike Bean officiating. Internment will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 a.m. till noon at the funeral home.
