Charles D. Poff II

CLINTON, Md. — Charles D. “Lucky” Poff II, 44, beloved son of Charles D. Poff Sr. and stepmother Faye A. Poff of Fredericktown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Dec. 7, 2008, in Clinton, Md.

He was a 1984 graduate of Fredericktown Local High School. He became a member of the Ironworkers Union Local 5 in 1986.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Welch of Florida; his son, Charles “CJ” Poff Jr., and stepson, Joey Belange, both of Maryland; his brother, Marvin “Marty” Poff of Florida; a stepsister, Pamela Eckert of Mount Vernon; and two nieces, Hailey Poff of Florida and Desirae Eckert of Fredericktown.

He was preceded in death by his stepsister, Deborah K. Eckert; and his grandparents.

A private memorial service was held in Clinton, Md., on Dec. 13, 2008.
