ZANESVILLE — George E. Miller, 67, of 13215 Highland Drive, Fredericktown, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at Riverside Hospital.
He was born July 28, 1941, in Zanesville. He was formerly employed by the developmental center in Mount Vernon. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the Mount Vernon Moose Club.
He is survived by a son, Mark A. (Connie) Miller of Edison; daughter, Beth A. (Jeff) Dunn of Chandlersville; grandchildren, Karla, Jessica, Noel and Christopher Dunn, and Anastasia, Grace and Samantha Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gertrude (Griner) Miller.
Friends may call Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, 56 S. Fifth St., Zanesville, where funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
