Dianna L. Craig

HOWARD — Dianna LeAnn Craig, 41, of Greencrest Court, Howard, passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at her home following a courageous battle with leukemia.

She was born Dec. 22, 1967, in Galion to Robert Salley of Sangor, Texas, and Dorothy Greenlee. Dianna was a 1986 graduate of Centerburg High School and had worked as an administrative assistant for the vice president of Rolls-Royce. She was actively involved in the Relay For Life and served as captain for team Rolls-Royce. In 2006, Dianna was selected as an ambassador to Washington, D.C., for the American Cancer Society.

Besides her parents she is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Craig, whom she married on April 2, 1999; a daughter, Britney (Chad) Hartley of Newark; a son, Bryant Snyder of Sangor, Texas; a daughter, Elaine “Lani” Skaggs of Howard; two grandchildren, Kara and Carson Hartley; two sisters, Jenny Lambert of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Lisa (Archie) Hartsaw of Mount Vernon; a brother, Robbie (Oleta) Salley of Sangor, Texas; stepfather, Roy Greenlee of Morristown, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother in 1993.

Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050. The family will observe a private funeral service. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
