PARIS, Ark. — D.R. “Pat” Barnes, 85, of Paris, Ark., passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, in Paris.
He was born in Condit, Ohio, on Aug. 18, 1923, to Dow and Esther (Nettelhorst) Barnes. He was a retired Foundry Consultant for Q.O. Chemicals and was a member of the Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church in Hot Springs, Ark.
Pat is survived by one daughter, Dawn Barnes of Garland, Texas; one son, Rick Barnes and wife Gale of Booneville, Ark.; and one brother, Harold W. Barnes of Fairfax, Va.
Mr. Barnes will be cremated and will be brought to Ohio for burial.
