MOUNT VERNON — Kathryn M. Richardson, 103, of Mount Vernon passed away Jan. 16, 2009, at Summerville at HillenVale.
She was born Jan. 6, 1906, in Harrisburg, Pa., to the late Daniel and Dora (Sarvis) Sheaffer. Kathryn was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Hill Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy (Wayne) Behner of Danville; her sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel (Doreen) Richardson of Puyallup, Wash., and Dr. William (Sandra) Richardson of Berrian Springs, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Richardson; two sisters; and a brother.
Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Mr. Lou Toscano officiating. Private family burial will be in Keene Cemetery in Keene, Texas.
