MARENGO — Carolyn Sue Trace, 57, of Marengo, formerly of Ashley, died unexpectedly Friday evening, Jan. 23, 2009, in the emergency room of Morrow County Hospital.

She was born Nov. 17, 1951, in Columbus to the late Kenneth and Pauline (Dustin) Boyd. A graduate of Big Walnut High School in 1971, she had worked as a cook for numerous establishments and was currently employed at Feridean Commons in Westerville.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Trace; daughters, June (Greg) Sprowls of Westerville, Bethanne Webb of Delaware and their father, Carl Webb of Sunbury; grandchildren, Todd and Christopher; stepdaughters, Linda (Steve) Brandau, Rhonda Skeens, Deborah MacKay and Vickie Riddle; brothers, Kenneth (Bernice) Boyd and Carroll (Betty) Boyd; and sister, Rebecca (Steve) Bowen.

Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m., prior to the 4 p.m. memorial services at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury.
