UTICA — A funeral service for Florence E. Spearman, 87, of Utica will be held Monday, April 6, at 11 a.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Bruce Hissong officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Florence died April 1, 2009, at Utica Care Center. She was born Nov. 18, 1921, in Lock to the late Roy and Hattie B. (Moreland) Dunlap. Florence was formerly employed by the law office of Schaller, Campbell and Untied. She loved gardening and her cats.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John A. Spearman of Utica; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Dunlap Cochran, who passed away Aug. 4, 1981.
Friends may call Sunday, April 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.
