Mary Moreland

MOUNT VERNON — Mary Louise Moreland, 91, of Mount Vernon passed away Monday, April 13, 2009, at Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.

She was a member of Milford Church of Christ, Wayne Grange, Station Break in Mount Vernon and various clubs and associations.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Earl “Jake” Moreland; son, James; grandchildren, Tim and Michelle; sister, Opal Sellers.

Surviving are children, Buddy R. (Kathy) Moreland of Mount Vernon, Wanda M. Walsh of Pennsylvania and Judy A. (Nelson) Litzenberg of Centerburg; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Milford Church of Christ, 3648 Johnstown Road, Centerburg, where service will be held Thursday, April 16, at 11 a.m. Pastor Gary Thomas officiating. Interment Moreland Cemetery. Arrangements by the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, Centerburg.
