Marshall ‘Eddie’ Pittman

MOUNT VERNON — Marshall Edward “Eddie’ Pittman, 58, of Mount Vernon died unexpectedly Thursday, April 16, 2009, at his home on stagger hill.

He was born Sept. 25, 1950, in Gainesville, Fla., to the late Marshall C. and Rosalie (Green) Pittman. He was a graduate of Big Walnut High School in 1969. After 30 years with the Delaware County Berkshire outpost of ODOT, he retired in 2000.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Ruark); daughters, Lori (Bobby) Falke of Marengo, Angie (John) LeMaster of Cardington; son, Justin Marshall (Elizabeth) Pittman of Centerburg; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers, Mike (Elaine) and Mat (Sherry); sisters, Jackie (Mike) Corwin, Jill (Don) Bryant, June (Rick) Reebel; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. and burial will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park.
