GALENA — Walter G. McClintock, 83, of Galena died April 26, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 11, 1926, in Bronx, N.Y., to the late Francis and Hilma (Hovi) McClintock. He was a retired Systems Engineer from Accuray and had worked for North American Rockwell.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rose (Fusco) McClintock, whom he married Feb. 2, 1952; children, Susan (Michael) Sells of Clintonville, Keith of South Carolina, Jock of Bradenton, Fla., Tina Marie McClintock of Cincinnati, Michelle (Eli) Howard of Plain City, Scott (Dorian) of Granville; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; brother, William of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Lillian Daum of New Paltz, N.Y.
He was preceded by sisters, Helen McClintock, Irene Maeder; and a half sister, Alice McClintock.
Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury. Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Galena United Methodist Church, 2777 Sunbury Road, Galena. Interment with military honors will follow in Galena Cemetery.
