Lillian Glenn Clever

CROTON — Lillian M. Glenn Clever, 87, of Croton died May 6, 2009.

She was born Feb. 7, 1922, in Ashland to the late Clayton and Electa (Emmons) Jackson. In 1943, she married Ernest Kestner, who died in 1945. Lillian married her second husband of 50 years and groomsman in her first wedding party, Donald Glenn. He died in 1999.

She is survived by her third husband (also a member of her first wedding party), Frank Clever; son, Gary Glenn of Ashland; daughter, Nancy Decker of Bellefontaine; stepdaughter, Dianne Reese of Johnstown; stepsons, David A. Clever of Coal Valley, Ill., Jim Clever of Croton; two grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Also preceded in death by sister, Alfreda Moore.

Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where service will follow at 6 p.m. The Rev. Eva Marie Wolfe will officiate. Family will also greet friends Monday at 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at the Shenandoah Christian Church, Ohio 13 and Ohio 603, Shiloh, with Tom McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in the Savannah Cemetery.
