MADISONVILLE, Tenn. — Melvina (Kaylor) Davis, 91, of Madisonville, Tenn., formerly of Virginia and Westerville, has gone to rest with Jesus, Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at her home.
She was born on April 14, 1918, in Clinchco, Va., to the late Nelson W. and Mary Jane (Bowen) Kaylor.
She is survived by daughters, Judy (Richard) Nichols and Barbara (Stephen) Clark; son, Charles (Yolanda) Davis of Mount Vernon; daughter-in-law, Sharon (Suzy) Davis; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Jenny (Preston) Vance; several nieces, nephews; special friend, Juanita Maynard.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kilby K. Davis; son, Ron G. Davis; sisters, Alma Ring, Mildred Skeen, Sue Mullins; brothers, Robert and William Kaylor.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Revs. Bill Hayes and Daniel Clark officiating. Interment in Fairview Memorial Park.
