MOUNT VERNON — Ruth A. Kohl, 87, of Prairie Road, Mount Vernon, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2009, at her home.
She was born July 25, 1921, in Troy, W.Va., to the late Herbert and Sophia (Bode) Spray. Ruth was a member of the Morgan Grange, for over 50 years, and the Owl Creek Baptist Church where she served as the treasurer in both for many years. She was involved with the Missionary Society at church and was a leader in many church projects. Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Mark Spray; and three sisters, Mabel Spray, Doris Belt and Lucy Strubler.
