NORTH ROBINSON — Eb James “Jimmy” Harris, 11, of 5395 Bucyrus St., North Robinson, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at St. Vincent Mercy Children’s Hospital, Toledo, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Saturday night.
Jimmy was born in Galion on Sept. 6, 1997, to Eb James Harris, Mount Vernon, and Tina Ransom, North Robinson. Jimmy was a fourth-grader at Hannah Crawford Elementary School, North Robinson. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, wrestling and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He is survived by his two sisters, Brittany and Kelsey Harris, at home; his stepbrother, Zachary Welker; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Ruth Harris of Mansfield; and his maternal grandmother, Lana Patzer and Rob Gerwig of Galion; aunts and uncles, Ray Harris and Shannon Spears, Cristy and Charles Seward, Sheila and Kevin Hilliard, and Rae Ann Harris, all of Mansfield, Tim and Mary Ransom of High Springs, Fla., Tammie and Jeff Bohach of Galion, Teresa Kent and Mike Lane of Galion, Tara and Bob Boehm of Delaware; numerous cousins; and his special friends, Ed Enderle of Galion and Staci Redick of Mount Vernon.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Don Ransom; and his cousins, Krystal Moody and Erica Seward.
Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. Funeral service will be Friday, June 5, at 1 p.m. at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion, with the Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion. Following services at the cemetery, family and friends are invited to gather for a luncheon at the home of Jimmy’s grandmother, Lana Patzer, 503 Grand St., Galion.
