DANVILLE — Glenna Belle Addair, 82, died Friday, June 5, 2009, at the Ohio Eastern Star Nursing Home in Mount Vernon.
She was born March 2, 1927, in Bradshaw, W.Va., to Noah and Mary (Harmon) Coleman. She was a school teacher and a lifelong housewife. Glenna was a member of the Church of Christ in Garland, W.Va., and attended the Danville Church of Christ.
She is survived by eight sons, Wayne (Darlene) of North Springs, W.Va., Darrell (Eva) of Davy, W.Va., Arnold (Sharon) Leck Jr., and Michael (Jane), all of Danville, Dennis (Melanie) of Mount Vernon, and Marty (Linda), Kenny (Joy) Addair of Howard. She also has 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Sonia and Glen (Alice) Coleman of Bradshaw, W.Va., John (Deloras) of Bucyrus, and Raymond (Imogene) Coleman of Princeton, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leck Addair Sr. on Oct. 18, 1996. They were married on June 15, 1946. Also deceased are two sisters, Juanita Whaley and Othella Chafin; four brothers, Alva, Gleason, Eugene and Noah Coleman Jr.; and a grandson, Brent Allen Addair.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 9, at 11 a.m. at the Danville Church of Christ. Evangelist Stan Ratliff will officiate. Burial will be in Workman Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville.
