MANSFIELD — Eileen Ruhl, 77, of Mansfield and formerly of Fredericktown, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Mansfield Memorial Homes.
She was born Nov. 23, 1931, in Berlin Township to the late Darwin and Cecelia (Dowds) Braddock. Eileen was a 1949 graduate of Fredericktown High School. She was a member of the Ankenytown Grace Brethren Church, Christian Women’s Group and served as an auxiliary facilitator for the Knox County Alzheimer’s Support Group.
She is survived by two sons, Keith (Tami) Ruhl of Mount Vernon, Michael (Teresa) Ruhl of Millersport; a daughter, Karen (Robert) Berry of Fredericktown; grandchildren, Sheri Carpenter, Kristi Berry, Kevin Berry, Kasey Berry, Lindsay Ruhl, Allison Ruhl; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Carter of Fredericktown.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Red” Ruhl.
A graveside service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Gerald Bell officiating. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Eileen Ruhl.
