NEWARK — A graveside service for Richard H. Kintz, 86, of Newark will be held Tuesday, June 30, at 10 a.m. at Eden Cemetery.
Richard died June 27, 2009, at his daughter’s residence. He was born July 10, 1922, in Columbus to the late Jesse A. and Mary (Keitz) Kintz. He was a lifetime member (60 years) of Utica American Legion, Post 92; a World War II Army veteran; and a member of B.A.L. Local 44.
He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Sandy and Ron VanVoorhis of Newark and Joan Jones of Utica; his son, Walter D. Kintz of Dresden; three grandchildren, Craig, Jennifer and Misty; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.
