MARENGO — Doris Lee Harris, 74, of Marengo died June 29, 2009, at Grant Medical Center.
She was born on March 24, 1935. A stay-at-home mom for many years, she later worked 18 years and retired from the Delaware County Home.
She is survived by her husband, Donald, whom she married Aug. 27, 1955; mother, Ruby White of Ashland; children, Pam (Harlan) Wilson, Pat (Tom) Fitzpatrick of Marengo, Dan (Lisa) Harris of Centerburg; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Faye Turk, Barb Wiley, Sandy VanScoy and Terry White, all of Ashland, Carol Crossen of Nankin.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Edward and Clara Seidner; stepfather, Jay White.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, where service will be Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery.
