MANSFIELD — John Edward “JT” Troyer, 65, of Mansfield died July 2, 2009, in Lexington Court Care Center.
He was born April 22, 1944, in Powell to Dan and Fannie (Kuhns) Troyer. For 34 years he worked as a crane operator with HPM in Mount Gilead, and after the factory closed, drove for GMC Trucking.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Pfahler) Troyer; daughters, Kim Carter of Fredericktown, Tami Kochis of Mount Vernon and Tonya Henwood of Bellville; eight grandchildren; brothers and sisters, William Troyer of Elyria, Edna Klenz of Vermilion, David Troyer of Mount Gilead, Floyd Troyer of Orlando, Fla., Richard Troyer of Columbus, Philip Troyer, Sharon Perry and Roger Troyer, all of Mansfield, and Linda Arbogast of Carrollton.
Friends will be received Monday, July 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. The worship service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Christ Lutheran Church, 159 Frederick St., Lexington. The Rev. Marilou Brook will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
