JOHNSTOWN — Janice M. Thompson, 74, of Johnstown passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009.
She was born Dec. 25, 1934, in West Virginia to the late Jess and Irene (O’Brien) Cochran.
Survivors include daughters, Anne Piper and Marsha Lockwood; stepdaughter, Carol Smith; five grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; great-great-granddaughter; brothers, Mike and John Cochran; sister, Linda Cochran; former husband and father of her children, Shannon Hundley; aunt, Stella Tucker; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Carl Thompson.
Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at The Vineyard Community Church, 10444 Crouse-Willison Road, Johnstown, where a service celebrating her life will be Thursday 10 a.m. with Pastor Tommy Tucker officiating. Interment to follow in Fancher Cemetery. Arrangements by DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury.
