DANVILLE — Marlene Ann Shrimplin, 66, of S. Linwood Street, Danville, died July 15, 2009, at the Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.
She was born Aug. 6, 1942, in Mount Vernon to the late Carl and Audrey (Hawthorne) McMillan. She was a homemaker who dearly loved her family, kids, grandkids, and dogs. She was a 1960 graduate of Danville High School.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Shrimplin, whom she married June 16, 1963. Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda (Larry) Dalton of Danville and Rhonda (Sean) Crow of Newark; two grandchildren, Natalie Dalton and Devon Crow; a sister, Norma Jean (Joe) Todd of New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by a son, Brian Lee Shrimplin on Nov. 15, 1992; and a brother, Ronald L. McMillan on Dec. 21, 2003.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside service will be held Saturday. July 18, at 11 a.m. in Workman Cemetery at Danville, with Pastor Joe Overholt officiating.
