BUTLER— Neil F. Tharp, 64, of Butler died July 22, 2009, in his home.
He was born April 1, 1945, in Mount Vernon to Kenneth F. and Elizabeth M. (Hauger) Tharp. He retired after 44 years working as a window builder with Jeld-Wen.
Besides his wife, Barbara J. (Smith) Tharp, he is survived by a brother, Kenneth B. Tharp (companion Ann Needles) of Fredericktown; a sister, Barbara A. Smith of Butler; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dick Vail of Fredericktown, Herbert (Loretta) Smith of Shiloh, Harold (Sharon) Smith of Butler, Lee Smith of Ashland, Tom (Kay) Smith of Crestline, Teresa Turner of Westerville, Cindy Smith, Linda Whisler and Tim (Tammy) Smith, all of Bellville.
In addition to his parents, deceased are a brother, Dalton E. Tharp; a sister, Nancy Vail; and a brother-in-law, Loren Smith.
