Raymond Stahl Jr.

HOWARD — Raymond F. Stahl Jr., 82, of Howard passed away Saturday afternoon, July 25, 2009, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

He was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Monroe, Mich., a son of the late Raymond F. and Minnie (Poesch) Stahl Sr. Raymond graduated from The Ohio State University with a master’s degree in engineering and was a registered engineer. He retired for North American Rockwell. He attended the Amity United Methodist Church and was a member of the Mount Vernon Model Airplane Club. Raymond enjoyed attending the Senior Lunches in Danville and Amity.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Barbara (Logan) Stahl, whom he married on Oct. 10, 1953; sons, Dan (Sandy) Stahl of Westerville and Frank (Allison) Stahl of Bladensburg; a granddaughter, Rachael Stahl of Bladensburg; a sister, Betty (Don) Glower of Destin, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private burial in Raymond’s hometown of Monroe, Mich., at a later date.
