He was born April 2, 1950, in Mount Vernon to Wilma (Thatcher) and Elsworth Paul Zimmerman. He loved to ride his Harley, listen to a good blues band, and hanging out and having a good time with his friends.
He is survived by his mother, Wilma of Brinkhaven; a daughter, Darcie (John) Wynn of Bellville; a grandson, Zachary Wynn; sisters, Norma Jean (Richard) Laughrey of Brinkhaven and Elizabeth Jane Loney of Howard; an aunt, Helen Crill of Butler; an uncle, Charles Jack Thatcher of Brinkhaven; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elsworth, on Jan. 5, 1995.
A memorial gathering and lunch was held at The Hangout on Market Street in Danville today at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions can be made to a charity or organization of one’s choice. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is assisting with arrangements.
