James R. Paugh

SPRINGFIELD — James R. “Jamie” Paugh, 30, of Springfield died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, in Delaware County as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born Jan. 19, 1979 in Mount Vernon, the son of Richard H. and Diane F. (Davidson) Paugh. Jamie loved spending time with his family especially his 10 nephews and one niece. He enjoyed art, skateboarding, and playing drums and guitar.

Jamie is survived by his parents, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Robin and Walt Farlee and Susan and Wade Grogg, all of Fredericktown; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jeff Paugh of Springfield, and Andy and Casey Paugh of Grand Lake, Colo.; niece, Abigail; and nephews, Chad, Curtis, Gavin, Colin James, Evan, Colin Michael, Jacob, Zachary, Brady and Luke.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbur and Dorothy Davidson, and Ivan and Esther Paugh.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, Aug. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home & Crematory, 830 N. Limestone St., Springfield, where services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Pastor Mark Martin of Maiden Lane Church of God will officiate. Private burial will be in the Forest Cemetery, Fredericktown.
