FRAZEYSBURG — Harriet E. Hall, 88, of Frazeysburg passed away Aug. 17, 2009, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 31, 1921, in Newcastle to the late Eugene and Sylvia (Switzer) Hagans. Harriet was a member of the Bladensburg Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Daniel L. (Marvelle) Hall of Zanesville; daughters, Karen Davidson of Bladensburg, Betty (Ken) Holbrook of Alabama and Marlene Staunton of Zanesville; sisters, Verna (Dave) Emerson and Doris (Jim) Fry, both of Warsaw, and June (Ken) Huffman of Mount Vernon; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruby Hagans of Newark and Ruth Hall of Centerburg; special friends, Peggy Hardesty, Roxanne Berry and Jim Vaughn; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eskum “Rody” Hall, in 1989; seven sisters; and six brothers.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Mount Zion Cemetery near Bladensburg with Mr. Stan Ratliff officiating. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the funeral arrangements for the Hall family.
