HOWARD — Catherine T. Markgraf, 92, of Howard died at her daughter’s residence on Aug. 30, 2009.
She was born April 30, 1917, in Cleveland to the late Henry and Eva (Laktasic) Matich. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville.
Catherine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marion and Donn Suesse of Howard; three grandchildren, Robert Suesse, Trish Laylle and Donn Suesse; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Agnes Dezina of Elyria; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Markgraf; a sister, Lucy Young; and several brothers-in-law.
There will be no calling hours. Private family burial will be held at a later date. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the funeral arrangements for the Markgraf family.
