APPLE CREEK — Marilyn Ann Cline, 68, of Apple Creek died Monday evening, Aug. 31, 2009, at the Smithville Western Care Center in Wooster after an extended illness.
Marilyn was born in Millersburg on Sept. 14, 1940, the daughter of the late Paul E. and Edith P. (Carter) Snyder Sr. She married James R. “Jim” Cline on Aug. 23, 1964, in Brinkhaven. He survives.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey L. Cline of Grayson, Ky.; a daughter, Laura L. Harris (Randy) of Killbuck; a son, Steven L. Walkerow (Lynne) of Wooster; a daughter, Cheryl A. Weltlich (Eric) of Wooster; a sister, Carol J. Halfhill (Jay) of Millersburg; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Snyder Jr. and Larry Snyder.

Marilyn enjoyed and worked as a seamstress/tailor and had previously worked at Maiwurm’s Clothing Store in Orrville, Freedlander’s tailor shop in Wooster, and TLC Canvas. She also owned her own fabric and sewing shop in Danville and loved to quilt in her spare time. She was a member of Orrville Christian Church, an active member of the Growing Christians Class, an avid volunteer in the infant nursery. She enjoyed making baby quilts for all the new infants in the church.
Services will be held on Friday, Sept. 4, at 1 p.m. at Orrville Christian Church, 925 N. Elm St., Orrville 44667, with Pastor Tom Ledford officiating. Cremation will follow and a private burial will be at Killbuck Cemetery at a later date for the family. A time of visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., immediately preceding the service.
