FREDERICKTOWN — Patricia Ann Niggemeyer, 74, of Upper Fredericktown Road, Fredericktown, passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Mount Carmel Saint Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.
She was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Mount Vernon to the late Charles and Evelyn (Hauser) McClellan. Patricia was a member of the Colonial City Moose Lodge of Mount Vernon. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Neil Niggemeyer; her children, Vicki (Mike) Carroll of Brownsville, Valerie Haythorn of Fredericktown, Vonda (Thomas Jr.) Metcalf of Gambier and Vern Durbin of Fredericktown; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Rutan of Dayton; stepson, Michael Niggemeyer; and stepdaughters, Nancy Link and Angela Niggemeyer.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Vince Durbin; two half brothers, Robert and Everett McClellan; and a half sister, Ardelle Schwing.
Friends may call Monday, Sept. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown, 33 E. College St., Fredericktown. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. in Mound View Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
