FAIRBORN — A funeral service for Patricia Ann Richards, 85, of Fairborn, formerly of Utica, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bell Cemetery.

Patricia died Sept. 5, 2009, in Fairborn. She was born Aug. 31, 1924, in Delaware, Ohio, to the late Harry and Perces (Atkinson) Traxler. She worked for the Miller Co., Flemings Dairy and Huffords Ben Franklin. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed eating out, shopping and gardening.

She is survived by daughters, Pam and Ed Abernathy of Centerburg, Becky and John Ralston of St. Louisville, and Sue and Gene Ramsey of Fairborn; sons, Dan and Judy Frailly of Lanesville, Ind., Tim and Karen Richards of Utica, and Mike and Pam Richards of St. Louisville; five grandchildren, Angie and Randy McLarnan, Dina and Marv Beals, Gina and Tim Payton, Chad and Shayla Ramsey, and Mindy and Jason Allen; three great-grandchildren, Zac and Silas Beals and Taylor Ramsey; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Jenkins of Utica and Jo Ann Husband of St. Louisville.

She was preceded in death by husband, Paul, on Sept. 30, 1996; son, Jeffrey Paul, on April 4, 2004; one sister, Margie Chilcote; a granddaughter, Michelle Frailly; and stepfather, Dick Case.
