GAMBIER — Ruth Ann Frazee, 64, of Caves Road died Sept. 13, 2009, at the Country Club Retirement Campus in Mount Vernon.
She was born Aug. 10, 1945, in Mechanicsburg to the late David Alex and Ethyl Irene (Parker) Smith. She was a homemaker and a health care provider for 18 years. She was a member of the Howard Christian Church and the Christian Women’s Club of the church.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Lavern Frazee, whom she married July 23, 1964. Also surviving are a daughter, Reida Frazee of Gambier; a son, Ron (Kim) Frazee of Warsaw; two granddaughters, Autumn Kromoff of Warsaw and Cassie Pelton of Frazeysburg; two great-grandsons, Caden and Cameron Hill of Frazeysburg; five sisters, Barb Curry of Mount Vernon, Helen Shoaf and Jean Whitbeck of London, Mary Mullet of Coshocton and Nina Sampsel of Warsaw; five brothers, Dave (Dorothy) Smith of Middletown, Richard (Bonnie) Smith of Franklin, Harold (Linda) Smith of Plain City, Jack (Gail) Smith of Howard and Roger (Sonja) Smith of Mount Vernon.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Freida Faye Alexander, Reida Smith and Ethel Sherron; a great-granddaughter, Kylie Hill.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville with Pastor Dave Spaulding officiating. Burial will be in the Workman Cemetery at Danville.
