MOUNT VERNON — Patricia (Bunn) Wallace, 81, of Mount Vernon died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Patricia was born Dec. 23, 1927, in Meadville, Pa., to Joseph M. and Alice Anne (Phillips) Bunn. She was a 1945 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and had been a resident of Mount Vernon most of her lifetime. Patricia was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, where she was active with many church organizations.
Surviving are her son, Stephen Ray (Cathie) Wallace of Mount Vernon; her daughters, Karen (Butch McNeil) Kreps and Geri Wallace, both of Mount Vernon, and Leigh Ann Bruno of Hilliard; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marjorie Lou Pisachubbe of Hugo, Okla.
Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Wallace, on Sept. 4, 2009; and her brother, Richard L. Bunn.
Friends may call Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
