MOUNT VERNON — Roger Lee Ingraham, 75, of West Gambier Street, Mount Vernon, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
He was born Jan. 12, 1934, in Pulteney, N.Y., to the late John and Leona (Lyon) Ingraham. Roger was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bladensburg and enjoyed fishing. He was employed as a Ready Mix driver for Krehling Concrete Co. in Florida and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1955.
He is survived by his lifelong companion, Helen Sobers, and her children; three brothers and three sisters. Besides his parents, Roger was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private service at a later date. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to serve the Roger Lee Ingraham family.
