ST. LOUISVILLE — Bill Postle, 60, of St. Louisville died Sept. 25, 2009, at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.
He was born May 29, 1949, in Pataskala to Byron and Grace (Streets) Postle. Bill was a member and Elder of Rocky Fork Church of Christ. He was also a Sunday school teacher and an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Ellen (Arrington) Postle; two sons, Jason (Rachel) Postle of Warsaw and Tim (Erin) Postle of Rogers; two daughters, Tiffany (Tyler) Newsom of Newark and Amy (Robert) Meadows of St. Louisville; his mother, Grace Postle of Newark; three brothers, Gordon (Mary Jo) Postle of Newark, Thomas (Joyce) Postle of St. Louisville and Danny (Betty) Postle of Newark; a sister, Sue (Earl) Hays of Newark; four grandchildren, Alyssa and Nathan Newsom, Zoey Meadows, Jonathan Postle; and his mother-in-law, Clara Arrington of St. Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Byron Postle.
Friends may call Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Rocky Fork Church of Christ, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Bill’s two sons, Jason and Tim Postle officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Fork Cemetery with Evangelist Cory Campbell officiating. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Homes are handling the funeral arrangements for the Postle family.
