MOUNT VERNON — Isabell C. Dudgeon, 95, of Mount Vernon died Sept. 26, 2009, at the Rose Garden Nursing Home.
She was born July 4, 1914, in Gambier to Scott and Eva (Horn) Dudgeon. She was a member of the Millwood Presbyterian Church and was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Isabell was a former cook at Spearman’s Restaurant in Millwood for many years.
She is survived by a niece, Beverly A. Sharp of Gahanna; and three nephews, Dan Dudgeon of Gambier, Rodney W. Dudgeon of Atlanta, Ga., and Michael T. Dudgeon of Florence, S.C.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George T. Dudgeon.
At Isabell’s request, there will be no calling hours. A private interment will be held at a later date. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Homes are handling the funeral arrangements for the Dudgeon family.
Memorial contributions may be made in Isabell’s name to Millwood Presbyterian Church.
