FREDERICKTOWN — Charlotte M. Sorenson, 77, of Boyd Street, Fredericktown, passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at the Country Club Center in Mount Vernon.
She was born Feb. 19, 1932, in New Windsor, Md., to the late George and Mary (Mobley) Keeler. Among numerous pizza parlors, Charlotte was the previous owner and operator of the Pirates Cove Restaurant in Gambier.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Sorenson; two daughters, Teresa Hatton of Columbus and Carol Hatton of Wisconsin; a son, Dean Hatton of Minnesota; five grandchildren, Anna Nichlas, Rachel Smith, Rodney Smith, Matthew Burroughs II and Thorton Burroughs; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, William Higgens of Mansfield; and a sister, Marilyn Kousoulas of Gambier.
Besides her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her first and second husbands.
There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private service at a later date. The Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown is honored to serve the family of Charlotte M. Sorenson.
