MESA, Ariz. — Timothy Lee Rector, 59, of East Camino Street, Mesa, Ariz., died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, at the Mountain Vista View Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz.
He was born March 30, 1950, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to Dale Rector and Leaffie (Yoders) Snow. He was a 1968 graduate of Danville High School and was an avid collector of comic books and baseball cards.
He is survived by his mother and father-in-law, Leaffie and Roy Snow, his wife, Vera (Sulieman) Rector, a son, Timothy R. Rector, a stepson, Jessie Perez, and a stepdaughter, Jasmine Perez, all of the home; three brothers, James (Darla Thomas) Snow of Homer, Thomas Snow of Boise, Idaho, and Roy Snow II of Mount Gilead; two sisters, Kathy (Girard) Galetto of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Connie (Denny) Lind of Elizabeth, Colo.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Gene Rector.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, at 10:30 a.m. at Mound View Cemetery in Mount Vernon. The Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Timothy Lee Rector.
