FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. — If there were ever needed a perfect description of a woman, a wife, a mother, grand and great-grandmother that would sufficiently cover all of those roles, Pearlene Rowley would be that picture of words. To say she was the heart of the family would not be an exaggeration. She was quiet, unassuming, full of patience and always, always supportive whether you deserved it or not. Her deep, constant faith and good will toward all will be deeply missed. Pearlene Edith Rowley, 93, passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at the Fountain View Village skilled nursing facility in Fountain Hills, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Hattie Fuller; brothers, Robert, Ralph, Jeston and Don; sister, Lorean Bradrick; and daughter-in-law, Ellen.
Pearlene is survived by her husband of 71 years, William S. Rowley of Fountain View Village; sons, Eric of Michigan, Stephen (Sharon) of Rhode Island; grandchildren, Jeff (Cheryl) Rowley of Illinois, Cheryl Rowley of Indiana, Jill (Jeremy) Clinger of Ohio, Brenda Rowley, Chandler and Dan Rowley, Cave Creek; great-grandchildren, Sean, Scott, Lacey, Jake and Jenna.
We, as a family, and those who knew her as a friend have all been enriched having known Pearlene. Her final place of rest will be the Oak Grove Cemetery in Knox County, Ohio. May she find a much-deserved peace.
For those who wish to honor Pearlene’s life, the family has requested donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
