COLUMBUS — Louis H. Kayser, 83, died Dec. 21, 2009, at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus, following a brief illness.
He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Westerville, and retired from Kelsey Hayes-TRW in Mount Vernon, where he was an Industrial Relations manager. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a graduate of Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
He is survived by a son, Troy Kayser (Christine) of Gahanna; a daughter, Jane Tague (James), of Fort Myers, Fla.; a sister, Janet Dvorak (Vernon) of Prescott, Ariz.; a brother, Richard Kayser (Marlys) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and grandchildren. Zachary, Nickolas and Rachel Rozler; and Kyle and Lindsey Tague. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie.
Friends may call Monday, Dec. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230, where services will be held at 7 that evening. The Rev. Father Adam Streitenberger will officiate.
