MOUNT VERNON — Audrey L. Glass, 84, of Mount Vernon died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Iron River, Mich., to William W. and Rosamond G. (Christesen) Lewis. Audrey was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Hill Church in Mount Vernon.
Surviving are her husband, R. Dale Glass, whom she married Sept. 5, 1948; her sons, Thomas (Phyllis Freedman) Glass of Washington D.C., and Benjamin (Karen) Glass of Cleveland; her daughters, Connie (Gary) Myers of Silver Spring, Md.. and Betsy (Wes) Youngberg of Temecula, Calif.; seven grandchildren Jason Myers, Aaron Myers, Dakota Youngberg, Madie Youngberg, Katie Youngberg, Maxwell Glass and Jackson Glass; a great-grandson, Noah Myers; her brother, Russell Lewis of Phoenix, Ariz.; and her sister, Lois Lewis of Worthington.
Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon. Funeral service will be Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Hill Church, 535 Wooster Road, Mount Vernon, with Pastor Louis Toscano officiating. Private burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington.
