CENTER VILLAGE — Harry C. Haycook, 95, of Center Village died Jan. 14, 2010, at his home.
He was born in Churubusco, Ind., to the late Ray and Edna (Clouse) Haycook. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. Harry was a mechanic by trade, working for Edwards and Brakes Automotive formerly of Sunbury, also in the maintenance department of the former Nestle’s Corp. until he was 69.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Mae (Hennick); daughters, Linda Humble, Renda (Joe) Bennett of Sunbury; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are sister, Luretta Day; brothers, Rolland and Clyde Haycook.
Friends may call one hour prior to the Monday 2 p.m. funeral service at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury, with the Rev. Bud Leskovac officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Delaware County Veterans Association. Burial will follow in Fancher Cemetery.
