MOUNT VERNON — Marjorie E. Hissong-Reep, 85, of Mount Vernon died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon.

Marjorie was born Nov. 3, 1924, in Mount Vernon to Paul and Marie (Reynolds) Lipscomb. She was a member of the Mount Vernon Seventh Day Adventist Hill Church. Marjorie enjoyed making her yard beautiful and eating breakfast out with friends. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of nine years, John Reep; her three sons, Jack (Rattana) Hissong of Bangkok, Thailand, Terry (Pam) Hissong of Mount Vernon and Britt (Desiree) Hissong of Jacksonville, Fla.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hissong and Suchada Boonmeekier, Wayne (Stacie) Scott, Tyler Hissong and Rylan Hissong; four great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Peggy Jo Reep, Paul (Kathy) Reep, Karen Specht, Ralph (Suzanne) Reep, Wanda (Curtis) Biggs and Robert Hall.

Besides her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husbands, Calvin Edward Hissong and Mervin Riggenbach; and her sister, Eileen Yoakum.

Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Mount Vernon Seventh Day Adventist Hill Church with Pastor Fred Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in Mound View Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
