PEA RIDGE, Ark. — Raymond Loos Keefer, 84, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Jan. 28, 2010, in Rogers, Ark., after a long illness.

Born Aug. 25, 1925, in Coshocton, Ohio, he was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Doris Biggins Keefer; and parents, Lucetta Darr and Dwight Keefer. He served in World War II in the Naval Pacific Theater, worked 40 years at Pittsburgh Paint & Glass and retired to Pea Ridge in 1987.

He is survived by sons, Kenneth Keefer of Trophy Club, Texas, and James Keefer of Canal Winchester, Ohio; granddaughter, Carrie Keefer Biedenbach; a great-granddaughter, Carmela Biedenbach of Pataskala, Ohio; and caregivers of seven years, Bernice and Randy Schatz.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Rogers. Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
