UTICA — A funeral service for Elizabeth M. “Libby” Walton, 94, of Utica will be held Monday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m. at Law-Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Carol Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.

Libby died Feb. 4, 2010, at Newark Health Care. She was born March 29, 1915, to the late Henry and Mary (Westbrook) Koontz. Libby was a member of Utica United Methodist Church and Glenwood Chapter Order of Eastern Star 305.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Tim Baker of Hebron; grandchildren, Kristen and Rob Hodges of Lebanon, and Trisha and Brad Moorehead of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Brock and Mitchell Hodges and Brenna Moorehead.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Joseph Walton, who passed away Sept. 12, 1986; daughter, Bonnie Sue Baker (2005); stepmother, Cora Chilcote Koontz; brother, Paul Koontz; sisters, Virginia Robinson, Jean (Koontz) Cromer, Kathleen (Koontz) Topp and Betty Jane Burson.
