MOUNT VERNON — Regina F. Lang, 82, of Mount Vernon died Friday morning, Feb. 5, 2010, at Knox Community Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born June 28, 1927, in Dresden, a daughter of the late Pius and Elsie (Garrett) Snider. Regina was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon and volunteered with Interchurch Social Services in Mount Vernon.

Regina is survived by her sons, T. James (Shari) Lang Jr. of Mount Vernon, Reg (Bev) Lang of Blythe, Calif., and Michael (Dianna) Lang of Mount Vernon; daughters, Mary E. Lang of Dublin and Cathy A. King of Mount Vernon; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Snider of Ocala, Fla.

In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Troy J. Lang Sr., on Oct. 17, 1982; and a brother, Cephas Snider.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Mark J. Hammond as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
