MOUNT VERNON — Vivian I. Roth, 95, of West Sugar Street, Mount Vernon,
passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 2, 1915, in Mount Vernon to the late Fred and Evonne (Joris)
Cornet Sr. She was a member of the Grove Church of Christ in Gambier. Vivian
enjoyed caring for animals and her social time with friends at McDonald’s.
Most important was the time she spent with her loving family.
She is survived by a brother, Fred (Lorena) Cornet Jr. of Mount Vernon; nieces,
Cathy (Joseph) Conkling of Mount Vernon and Cristia (Michael W.) Small of Gambier;
great-nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Tom) Burke of Mount Vernon, Amie Speer of
Mount Vernon, Michael F. (Angie) Small of Gambier and Tracie Gobel of Westerville;
and great-great-nieces and nephews, Jordan Langdon, Bradyn Burke, Marissa Speer,
Alex Small, Gavin Burke, Amber Small and Trevor Gobel.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Peter Roth,
in 1993.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Mound View Cemetery
in Mount Vernon. Evangelist Jerold Tear will be officiating. The Flowers-Snyder
Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Vivian I. Roth.
